Should I just let windows download drivers






















 · If you want to use your Windows 10 regular, then don’t need to install drivers in Windows 10 because all the major drivers, Windows 10 automatically install drivers. Moreover, Graphics Card drivers, some Hardware related drivers you may have to download and install regularly.  · Normally Windows will provide the drivers for your PC and update them appropriately. Exceptionally some people need to use e.g. older drivers for older PCs. As you've had Win 10 on your laptop, you should know whether you needed to take any special action. Avoid 3rd party driver update tools- they are useful only in exceptional circumstances.  · Windows roll back a driver. Windows administrators may uninstall the alternative drivers again after they have been installed, e.g. by using the Device Manager's driver rollback feature: Use Windows-X to display the admin menu and select Device Manager. To find and install optional driver updates on Windows 10, head to Settings Update Security Windows Update. (You can press Windows+i to open the Settings window.) Just use experience and dont listen to the haters or paranoid scared children. Just open experience, click update and after your download it takes maybe 1 minute and your graphics driver is new and you don't even have to reboot. No need to still live in stone age and search your driver over the internet, it's just 2 clicks and bam your driver. On your keyboard, press the windows key and in the search bar, type in Device manager. In the search results, click on Device manager. THE Device manager panel will open. Click on the first item on the list, usually your device name as shown in the picture bellow. Now, Click on Action then Add legacy hardware.

I don't mind that, but here's the thing When Windows updates my driver, the Radeon Settings doesn't open at all. I have tried deleting the drivers and reinstalling them and Radeon Settings only opens when I update via AMD's own update utility. Windows includes built-in drivers and automatically downloads new ones to make setup easier, but device manufacturers also provide their own driver packages. Hardware drivers are the software that allow your operating system to communicate with your hardware.
